Meet Your Teacher
Hello, Fourth Graders! My name is Miss Smith and I am so excited to be your teacher this year. We will have tons of fun and learn more than you can imagine! First off, I would like for you to know a little bit about me.
I was born and raised right here in Enid, Oklahoma. I am one of four children and just so happen to be the youngest. All of my siblings are married and I know you will be hearing about them quite often! I have four nephews (two of which are twins).
I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I am proud to call myself a Hayes Hawk now and know all of you are too! I greatly enjoyed teaching third grade for three years and this will be my second year teaching fourth. One of the greatest things I enjoy about teaching is learning everyday just like my students. There is always room to grow!
When I am not planning really cool activities for us to do, I enjoy reading, crafting, baking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I love being an auntie and sharing stories about the adorable things my nephews do.
Teaching is something I knew I wanted to do ever since I was seven years old. Every year my students become “my kids” and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Welcome to fourth grade!
