I grew up in Enid and I attended Enid Public Schools. I attended Glenwood and Emerson Junior Hight and graduated from Enid High School in 2008. I attended to Oklahoma State University and Graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders. I attended Williston State College Online to recieve my Speech-Languge Pathology Assistant Degree and recieved my Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Degree in 2013. I was Glenwood’s Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from August 2013 to May of 2016. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Early Childhood Teaching degree. I love Glenwood and I am so excited to be teaching first grade this year.
I have attended Literacy First Training, Great Expectations Training, and The Phonics Dance Training.
I started working at Glenwood Elementary in 2013 as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. I worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for three years and loved it! This year I am going to be a First grade teacher and I am very excited for the change and everything that is ahead.
I am currently engaged and will be married this March to Joseph Lamerton. My mother, Peggy Kenaga is a Wonderful Principal at Taft Elementary School! She was a teacher for many years here at Glenwood before becoming a Principal. I love and admire her! I have an older sister, Kristen who lives with her husband in Dallas Texas. I have a younger brother, Brett who also lives in Dallas Texas.
